On the 29th and 30th of August, Belgian Meat Office organized its 13th edition of the Round Table: a pr-event attended by 20 journalists from the European meat trade press.
On the 1st day the journalists paid a visit to one of Belgium's finest butcheries and an important supplier of renowned restaurants in Belgium and abroad: De Laet & Van Haver Butcher's Store.
On the 2nd day the actual Round Table discussion took place with this year’s theme: “Meat in the post-truth era”. Prof. Dr. Ir. Frédéric Leroy (Free University of Brussels) and Dr. Lic. Philippe Houdart (Belgian Food Safety Agency) were our guest speakers.
